Original text and translations

Latin.png Latin text

Quis sicut Dominus Deus noster,
qui in altis habitat
et humilia respicit in coelo et in terra?
Quis similis tui in fortibus, Domine?
Quis similis tui, magnificus in sanctitate
et terribilis et faciens mirabilia?
Benedictus qui sedes super cherubin
et intueris abyssos:
laudabilis et gloriosus et super exaltatus in secula seculorum.

English.png English translation

Who is like as the Lord our God,
who dwelleth on high,
and looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?
Who is like to thee among the strong, O Lord?
Who is like to thee, glorious in holiness,
terrible and praise-worthy, doing wonders?
Blessed art thou that sittest upon the cherubims,
and beholdest the depths:
worthy to be praised and exalted above all for ever.
