  Quel unico mio ben per cui son morto
  Chi mi t'ha tolt' o dolce mio conforto.

Sempre piangendo con lagrime amare
  Cerc' ogni loco e grido in ogni via
  Chi mi t'gà tolt' o dolce vita mia.

La notte poi quando sto à riposare
  Mi vien in sonno e dic' al miser core
  Nisciun m'hà tolto hor godi ecc' il tuo amore

Do poi mi sveglio e trovomi ingannato
  Dal sonno e grido com' a disperato
  Core mio bello e chi mi t'hà levato.
