Description: There are two early versions of the tune, of 1623 and of 1625, both published in Köln. The 1623 version is preferred in Catholic hymnals, and the 1625 version in Protestant hymnals.

- 1625 – Two sets of two lines, each followed by a line with two Alleluias, a line with three Alleluias at end (Ralph Vaughan Williams 1906)
