Novella Aurora, che nascendo allegri il mondo
E di timor madre e di speme
di tanti moti ohimè! dolenti ed egri
sgombra mi il cor che li sospira e geme.
De la gloria di Dio soglio,
e d’allegri piaceri Paradiso,
all’ ore estreme,
deh! a queste preci mie
l’orecchi e inchina,
bench’io sia terra
e tu del ciel Regina.
