mi potrà torre a te mio sommo Amore:
poi ch'el corpo, la vita, il sangue e'l core,
hai dato per far me sempre contento.

Da le tue sante piaghe tale io sento
nascer nell'alma e così vivo ardore:
ch'esser vorrei nel sempiterno errore,
pria che viver da te longe un momento.
