French text Quelque foys ie veis une femme Qui à l'autre se combatant Lui disoit va putaine infame. L'autre dit vray est, mais pourtant Tu vouldrois estre belle autant Comme moy, & susses requise Toutesfois tu es layde tant Que nul ne te veult, ny te prise.

French text  modernized Quelquefois je vis une femme Qui, à l'autre se combattant, Lui disait: "Va, putaine infâme". L'autre dit: "Vrai est. Mais pourtant Tu voudrais être belle autant Comme moi, et fusses requise. Toutefois tu es laide tant Que nul ni te veut, ni te prise".

English translation So one particular time I see this woman, And another scrapping together; She's like: "Sod off, you notorious slag", And the other's like: "That's bang on.
