English translation I wish to kiss Catin frequently, But she daren't kiss me night and day, Because of her mother; Which is cruel and leaves a bad taste. One day her mother, mirabile dictu, Was fooled without her catching on. Catin wants to calm the baby, And she hears Latin well enough, So in a simulacrum of kissing the kid, I kiss Catin! (trans.
