Description: For Sts. Philip and James, Apostles, May 11. John 14:9. Jesus has just said Peter will deny him three times before the cock crows, but he is reassuring the disciples. Philip asks him to "show us the Father." Jesus answers.

et non cognovístis me?
Philíppe, qui vídet me,
vídet et Pátrem méum.

"Such a long time I am with you,
and you do not know me?
Philip, one who sees me
sees also my Father."
