Italian text Tu ninfa di beltà sei fior‘ e fonte, Perché dal somm‘Iddio fosti creata Si vaga e bella in viso e nella fronte, Che l’alma mia resto presa e legata Con lazzi dolci per virtù d’amore, Qual m’ha cangiato il cor senza dolore.

German translation Du, Nymphe, bist Blüte und Quell der Schönheit, Warum wurdest du vom höchsten Gott geschaffen so anmutig und schön im Gesicht und Haupt, dass meine Seele gefangen und gebunden ist mit süßen Schlingen durch die Kraft der Liebe, welche mir mein Herz ausgewechselt hat ohne Schmerz.
