Description: This is one of J.M. Bach's most well-known pieces. It was written to be performed on the Second Sunday in Lent, and tells the story of the Canaanite woman and Jesus (Matthew 15:22-28). The story has been changed a touch - in the original, the disciples urge Jesus to ignore the woman, but in this version, the disciples urge him to help her.
