Description: In pre-Reformation England the Alleluia was sung at Mass immediately after the Gradual. Taverner's Alleluia Veni electa mea was intended for the votive mass of the virgin. The chant used in his other Alleluia has not been identified, but was probably also an Alleluia for a votive mass.
