Latin text Matt. 26:42  Pater mi, si non potest hic calix transire, nisi bibam illum: fiat voluntas tua. Variant 1 Luke 22:42  Pater, si vis transfer calicem istum a me: Verumtamen non mea voluntas, sed tua fiat.

English translation Matt. 26:42  My Father, if this chalice may not pass away, but I must drink it, thy will be done. Variant 1 Luke 22:42  Father, if thou wilt, remove this chalice from me: but yet not my will, but thine be done.
